Ahmed bin Mohamed Military College held a graduation ceremony for the batch ten of officer cadets. The ceremony was attended by HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah, Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, who distributed certificates to the graduates. The ceremony was also attended by a number of Armed Forces officers and parents.
HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs congratulated the graduates and their families from Qatar and brotherly and friendly states wishing them success in their future careers and the service of their countries.
In a statement to reporters on the occasion, he said: “Under the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on the need for investment in education, we in the armed forces are in constant evolution and, we are intending to establish a maritime college in addition to a technical college. We are looking forward to seeing these edifices in the near future.”
The four-year course was held for 92 officer cadets of various military sectors and brotherly and friendly states. Among the disciplines taught at the College’s military section, military and police sciences, parachuting and thunderbolt, while the academic section offers a bachelor degree in business administration, law, accounting , information systems and international relations.
The university graduate course, which was held for nine students took nearly one year, during which they obtained the diploma of military science.
