Seminar: Workforce Capacity Building and Crisis Management Strategies Lt. Col. Khamis Mohammed Khamis Al-Muraikhi

On Tuesday 01 December 2020, Ahmed bin Muhammad Military College (ABMMC) hosted a seminar under the title “Workforce Capacity Building and Crisis Management Strategies” given by Lieutenant Colonel Khamis Muhammad Khamis Al-Muraikhi, Director of the Planning and Development Department at the Internal Security Force -LEKHWIYA. The event was organized for the cadets of the 17th Batch majoring in business administration, as part of ABMMC’s aim to provide cadets with interactive learning and field experience opportunities. During the seminar, the speaker highlighted the importance of promoting a culture of continued professional development (CPD) in the armed forces and providing military personnel with ongoing opportunities for personal and professional development. In addition, Lt. Col. Al-Muraikhi gave an overview of the current approaches and practices in crisis management and provided examples of how these strategies can be used to address contemporary issues such as the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is worth mentioning that Lt. Col. Khamis Mohammed Khamis Al-Muraikhi is a graduate of Ahmed bin Muhammad Military College (ABMMC) 2nd batch, year 2004. As a cadet at ABMMC, Al-Muraikhi was ranked top of his batch in terms of discipline, leadership, professional conduct, and physical fitness.
