ABMMC comes together annually to celebrate student success at the Honors and Awards Ceremony. This long-standing tradition recognizes both academic and military excellence, honoring students for outstanding achievement. This year, the ceremony was carried out in the presence of the Commander of the College, HE Brigadier General Abdulrahman Al Kaabi, and the Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al Khater. A group of military officers and the college faculty also attended.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a tribute to Professor Abdul Rahman Abdul Salam for receiving the Babtain International Award for Poetry.
The Commander of the College, HE Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Al Kaabi distributed certificates to the outstanding students. The commander of the military training wing, Lieutenant General Nabil Soruur, then honored those students who distinguished themselves in various military activities, such as fitness, infantry and shooting. Dr. Khalid bin Nasser Al Khater, the Dean of Academic Affairs and Assistant Dean, Dr. Abdul Malik Boularas also honored academically outstanding students.
Following the awards ceremony, the College Commander made a speech, in which he thanked all ABMMC employees – including professors, soldiers, staff and trainers.
