The fourth symposium of the academic military colleges under the title: ‘Academic Military Education in light of the current challenges’

Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College held the fourth symposium of Military Academic Collages, under the patronage and in the presence of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.

The forum is being attended by eight friendly countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, Turkey, France, Canada, and Malaysia, to benefit from the experts’ suggestions and experiences. The aim of forum is to get a join efforts and establish important and distinct partnerships as well as strengthen co-operation with the corresponding colleges in the friendly countries with advanced expertise in the field of military academic education.

At the beginning of the symposium, the commander of Ahmed bin Mohamed Military College Major General Fahd Mubarak Al-Khayarin stressed the keenness of the college to hold the forum on a regular basis because of its great importance in promoting discussion and dialogue with the corresponding colleges to meet the challenges and propose solutions on academic military education by experts.

The commander also stressed that the cadet is the goal of the college and its main task is to develop his performance and upgrade his military and academic level to enable him to become a qualified decision-making leader equipped with the latest methods of training, knowledge, science, and values of loyalty to the homeland.

The two-day event witnessed the participation of eight major countries from different regions around the world such West Point and Royal Military Academy Sunhurts sharing the experience and the challenges of their college and raises concerns, offers solutions as there was also an open discussion at the end of the last session of the symposium.
