On Wednesday, November 21, 2018 ABMMC hosted a professional development workshop in which Dr. Ahmed Al-Muqrmad, Executive Director of Qatar Institute for Computing Research, delivered a lecture on research and development at the Qatar Institute for Computing Research. Dr Ahmed addressed the research activities in the Institute in many fields such Arabic language techniques, social computing, data analysis and cybersecurity. The lecturer gave a detailed explanation of the Institute’s software products in these areas which are currently being used by many local and international companies as well as international news organizations. He also pointed the close cooperation in the research field between the Institute and many local and international research centers.
