His Highness Presides Over the Graduation Ceremony of the 20th Batch of Officer Cadets at Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College
His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, graciously presided over the graduation ceremony of the 20th batch of officer cadets at Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College. The event took place at the college’s premises on the morning of Thursday, January 23, 2025.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, along with several esteemed dignitaries and sheikhs.
Also present at the event were senior officials from military and security colleges, institutes, and academies from friendly and brotherly nations, as well as Their Excellencies, the heads of diplomatic missions in the state.
Following the playing of the national anthem, the parade commander sought permission from His Highness the Amir to inspect the graduating cadets, who numbered 296 and hailed from Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Federal Republic of Somalia, and the Republic of Rwanda. The ceremony then proceeded with the graduates’ march-past and a military display.
His Highness then honored the top-performing graduates of the batch. The ceremony concluded with the graduates taking an oath of allegiance to the State of Qatar and its Amir, followed by the college anthem.
