Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Program Objectives

The Accounting Bachelor Program at Ahmed Bin Muhammad Military College aims to:
O1 Build strong foundations of knowledge in the field of accounting and auditing of accounts for the student and training him in the necessary skills that enable him to occupy accounting jobs in the Qatari Armed Forces and other security agencies in the State of Qatar.
O2 Qualify students on how to perform financial and accounting follow-up and control work in the Qatar Armed Forces and other security agencies in the State of Qatar.
O3 Instill in the student the sound moral values that are in line with our true Islamic religion in a way that makes him enjoy responsibility and also supports his commitment to the rules and ethics of the profession in the Qatari Armed Forces and other security agencies in the State of Qatar.
O4 Help students to create ambition and desire to develop the accounting and auditing profession in the State of Qatar.
O5 Enable students to gain modern information technology skills through using computers and information technology tools in the financial and accounting fields.
O6 Build an accounting culture among the students by introducing him to the nature and importance of local and international generally accepted accounting principles and how to apply them distinctly in the Qatari Armed Forces and other security agencies in the State of Qatar.
O7 Develop the student’s capabilities in preparing and drafting financial reports for the Qatari Armed Forces and other security agencies in the State of Qatar, and providing them with the necessary skills to analyze, interpret and evaluate the data contained in these reports.
O8 Develop students’ scientific research skills in the fields of accounting and auditing and qualifying them to obtain professional certificates such as CPA, ACCA.
O9 Enhance the student’s self-confidence and making him more open and receptive to the ideas of others through the development of communication skills, creative thinking, the art of leadership, and a bundle of diverse knowledge that he acquires from general and optional requirements.
