Symposium: Language, Identity, and citizenship.

On February 16, 2022, Ahmed bin Muhammad Military College (ABMMC) held a symposium under the title “Language, Identity, and citizenship”.

The symposium was inaugurated by Mr. Salem Al-Mansoori, a representative of the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, and Mr. Saleh Gharib Al-Obaidly, a representative of the Qatari Forum for Authors. After the inauguration, keynote addresses were delivered by Prof. Dr. Abdul-Haq Bel-Abed, a member of the Qatari Forum for Authors, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Rahman Abdul-Salam, a Professor of Arabic language at ABMMC, and Dr. Hashem Mirghani, a Visiting Professor of Arabic language at ABMMC.

The event was attended by the Vice-Dean of Academic Affairs, faculty members, officers, and cadets. The symposium ended with a discussion session during which different participants were given the opportunity to express their views to enrich the topic.
